A graduate of Illinois Benedictine College, Arnold May received his B.A. in Accounting and Business Economics in 1978. He earned his CPA designation from the University of Illinois in 1979 and became a Licensed Professional Accountant in Illinois in 1980. He also holds a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning from the AICPA.
His diversified professional career comprises over 30 years of Public Accounting experience as well as more than 10 years experience in the private sector which includes serving as Vice-president/Controller of a national conglomerate of companies during his career.
A life long resident of Aurora, he has served on numerous civic boards including Fox Valley Montessori School, Freeman School PTA, and currently serves on the Aurora Area Crime Stoppers Board of Directors. He has also served as an Accounting Instructor at Waubonsee Community College.
An avid boater, he held a 50 ton Master Commercial Captain's license from the U.S. Coast Guard, and was a member of the United States Power Squadron.
He has been recognized for his achievements in "Who's Who in the Midwest" and Who's Who Among Leading American Executives".
